SWIMMING

Classes in year 5 go swimming on a Tuesday afternoon.  You will be given dates when your child's class will go swimming.  Classes alternate each term so that they swim throughout the year during alternative terms.  Your child will need a swimming costume, towel and bag.  They will need to take out any earrings for lessons.

Due to Covid-19 when we could not go swimming, during 2021-22 we will be taking y6 swimming during Autumn and Spring due to missing their sessions.  Year 5 will attend during the summer term and also when they are in year 6 in the Autumn term.  Current year 4 will then have the Spring and Summer Term to swim when they are in year 5 in 2022-23.  We hope by 2023-24 to be back to year 5 only swimming each year.
